
Our History
Gano Excel Industries is a global network marketing company specializing in health and wellness products enriched with Ganoderma lucidum (a medicinal mushroom, also known as Reishi or Lingzhi). Gano Excel has positioned itself as a pioneer and leader in the research, production, and marketing of Ganoderma-based wellness products globally.
1983
Mr. Leow Soon Seng began his research on the Ganoderma lucidum tissue cultivation process.


1995
Mr. Leow Soon Seng established Gano Excel in Malaysia, a wellness company committed to producing and marketing of high premium quality Ganoderma lucidum immunology products.
1996
- Awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
- Issued with HALAL certification for its products by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
- Launched its innovative Ganoderma & Excellium food supplement capsule products in Malaysia.
- Successfully commercialized its new Mycelium-based brand-EXCELLIUM-for the global market.



1999
- Developed and launched Gano Garcinia, a food supplement product that combined with Ganoderma lucidum, Garcinia atroviridis (a tropical fruit) and Tamarindus indica (a tropical plant).
- Developed and launched Gano Sakanno, a food supplement product that combined with Ganoderma lucidum and Tongkat Ali or Eurycoma Longifolia Jack, originated from Malaysia.
- Developed and launched Gano Soap, the world’s first personal care product added with Ganoderma lucidum.
- Expanded its business operations to Laos.


2001
- Further expanded its Ganoderma plantation in Malaysia to support the expansion of its international operations. Consolidating its position as the owner of the world’s largest Ganoderma lucidum plantation.
- Introduced a new range of beverages including, Ganocafe Mocha and Gano Schokolade infused with Ganoderma lucidum as part of its product diversification strategy.
2002
- Launched Rooibos tea infused with Ganoderma lucidum as part of its innovative product development process.
- Launched an additional two new coffee series – Ganocafe Ginseng Tongkat Ali and Ganocafe Classic – to cater for the growing market demand.
- Became the first Asian network marketing company to enter the US market.


2004
- Became a member of the Federation of Manufacturers Malaysia (FMM).
- Rated the “Best Newcomer in Network Marketing” by the Network Marketing Business Journal of America.
- Expanded its business operations to Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Canada, and also Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen.
- Continued to innovate its existing products by adding a creamier flavour to Ganocafe Ginseng Tongkat Ali and rebranding it as Gano Supreno, catered for different market segmentation.


2006
- Acquired an eight-storey building in Bangkok as part of the company’s expansion in Thailand.
- Expanded its business operations to Mongolia and the European Union.
- Introduced two new food supplement products – Royal Excellium and Spirograss.
- Introduced two new food supplement series under the Noble Garden (NG) banner, including, NG Pearl Feminine and NG Beau Klenz.
- Further diversified the personal care product line with the introduction of Gano Transparent Soap added with Ganoderma lucidum.


2008
- Developed and launched the 100% water-soluble essence Gold series food supplement products, named, Reishi Gold, Excellium Gold and Cordy Gold to the market.
- Developed and implemented an E-Commerce Network Marketing system in Malaysia with i-series food supplement products – i gano, i excellium, i garcino and i sakanno.
- Expanded its business operations to Turkey and Uzbekistan.

2010
- Strengthened the R&D department through investment in new high technology equipment and the appointment of an experienced team of professionals to ensure the production of high quality products.
- Launched a new Noble Garden (NG) range of beverages and supplements for the European market, including, NG GanoKoppe 3-in-1, NG Gano Black Koppe, NG Gano Mocha, NG C’real, NG Brown Romance, NG Ganoderma and NG Excellium.
- Expanded its business operations to Taiwan, Latvia and Russia.

2012
- Obtained GMP certification for the cosmetic manufacturing plant.
- Developed and launched a new coffee series called Ganocafe Hazelnut Coffee enriched with hazelnut and Ganoderma lucidum extract.
- Developed and launched a new cosmetic series of beverages called BellaGene, a collagen drink formulated with strawberry juice to enhance the skin’s natural beauty.
- Expanded its business operations to Tajikistan.



2015
- Expanded its business operations to South Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia.
- Obtained the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification.
- Began work on the World’s First Gano Discovery Centre, when completed, allows visitors to explore the Ganoderma world of Gano Excel.
- Hosted the Gano Excel Global Convention at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) on 30th September 2015 in conjunction with its 20th Anniversary. The theme of the event was “Be Empowered & Be Excellent”
2016
- Developed and launched Escelente series of products called Escelente Café 3 en 1, Escelente Gano Rooibos Thé, Escelente Boisson Chocolateé, Escelente Café Noir, Escelente Excellium Gold and Escelente Reishi Gold.
- Developed and launched Ganocordy, Luvoco Home Machine with 3 different flavours of Luvoco Capsules (7Gm) – Amoroso, Raffinato, Classico in Turkey.
- Expanded its business operation to Ecuador.


2018
- Developed and launched the Professional Commercial Luvoco Machine & Luvoco Capsules (12gm) – Raffinato in Turkey.
- The 1st MLM company to launch the Luvoco Coffee Franchise Business Concept in Turkey.
- Developed and launched Ganolicious Kopire Gano 3 in 1.
- Mr. Leow Soon Seng was appointed as an ambassador of the Vatican.
- Expanded its business operation to Bolivia.
- Hosted the Gano Excel Leadership Summit at Grand Hyatt, Bali, Indonesia on the 21st – 26th October 2018. The theme of the event was “Leadership for Tomorrow.


2019
- Developed and launched Reishi gold and Excellium gold products in Turkey.
- Developed and launched Supreno Premium Coffee in Romania and Hungary.
- Developed and launched the G’BEAUTE Gano Hand & Body Lotion and G’BEAUTE Gano Shampoo & Conditioner 2 in 1 in Mongolia.
- Celebrated the 10th year anniversary of Gano Excel Turkiye with a theme: Empowering Success, Envisioning Future.
- The 1st MLM company to launch the Luvoco Coffee Franchise Business Concept in Saudi Arabia.
- Developed and launched Luvoco Raffinato Truffle.
2020
- Developed and launched Gano plus and O’leaf Cool Tea Latte.
- Mr. Leow Soon Seng was awarded by the China government three global awards. Chinese Role Model 2019 Jinding Awards; Chinese Role Model 2019 Outstanding Contribution Awards and Special Contributor Awards for the 70th Anniversary of the Foundation of the People’s Republic of China.
- Hosted the Gano Excel Virtual Launching Event on the 7th November 2020 in conjunction with its 25th Anniversary..

2022
- Developed and launched no sugar-added product Rico Series ie.
- GanoRico CerealRico, GanoRico LatteRico, GanoRico MochaRico and GanoRico ShokoRico in the South and North America market.
- Truffle products with no sugar added were developed in Chile – Ganocafe LatteRico Truffle, Ganocafe ClassiRico Truffle and Ganocafe ShokoRico TRuffle.
- New formulated anti-aging product – Reskine Collagen Drink was developed and launched in China.
- Expanded in-house laboratory facility.
- Hosted Gano Excel Leadership Summit of the Americas in the Bahamas on the 4th-9th June 2020. The theme of the event was “Leading Beyond Excellence”.


2023
- Reskine Collagen Drink product launched in the US, Colombia, Uzbekistan.
- Pioir Ganoderma Coffee 3 in 1, Pioir Ganoderma Chocolate Drink and Pioir Ganoderma Black Coffee were launched in Honduras.
- Luvoco Coffee series and Luvoco coffee machine launched in Colombia.
- Developed and launched Cosmetic products – G’Beaute Face Mist, G’Beaute Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Scrub in Turkey.
- No sugar added products – namely Ganocafe LatteRetto, Ganocafe MochaRetto, Ganocafe Chocoretto, were then further launched in Turkey.
- Developed and launched new breakthrough coffee – Cold brew coffee
- Expanded its business operations to Chile and Honduras.
- Hosted the Gano Excel 2nd Global Achiever Convention in Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC) on 16th September 2023 in conjunction with its 28th Anniversary. The theme of the event was “Great as One”.
